Operator: onthemon.io LLC.
About these Terms
These launch Terms describe use of Slick.cards. Operator information and launch status appear above. These pages do not add a new signup acceptance mechanism. Contact legal@slick.cards with questions.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be 18 years or older to use Slick.cards. Anyone acting for a business or organization represents that they have authority to bind it. Use accurate registration information and protect access to your account. You are responsible for the content and actions you authorize through it.
Workspaces and teams
Workspace owners and administrators manage access and certain billing and content functions. Card permissions can differ from workspace roles. Invite only people authorized to access the workspace, review permissions and remove access when no longer appropriate. Platform administration is separate from workspace administration.
Your content and publishing
You retain ownership of your content. You grant Slick.cards only a limited, nonexclusive license to store, process, reproduce, transmit, format and display your content to the extent necessary to provide and operate the Slick.cards features you select. This license does not transfer ownership of your content to Slick.cards.
Publish only information you have the right to share. Publishing makes a snapshot publicly accessible. Saved drafts do not automatically update that snapshot. Uploaded image URLs may be public even before publication. Recipients can retain downloaded contacts and other copies; unpublishing cannot retrieve those copies. Retention and deletion are addressed in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Use the service in accordance with the Acceptable Use Policy. Do not use cards, QR destinations, referral links or workspace access for fraud, phishing, infringement or other abuse. You are responsible for permissions needed for third-party material you upload or embed.
Plans and recurring billing
Paid monthly and annual subscriptions automatically renew until canceled. Stripe processes subscriptions. Review the selected plan, recurring interval and price in Checkout before confirming. Where offered, the current 14-day trial converts to recurring billing unless canceled before conversion. Applicable taxes may be added where required.
Workspace owners and administrators use Billing to start or manage subscriptions through Stripe Checkout or the customer portal. Free is an unactivated state with no card allowance. Card and member limits apply to the workspace; creation and restoration can be blocked when capacity is exhausted.
Plan changes and cancellation
Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, consistent with the actual Stripe subscription state. Review the effective date, charges and confirmation shown in Billing or the Stripe customer portal. Cancel a trial before conversion to avoid its recurring billing.
Fees are generally nonrefundable except for billing errors, where required by law, or where Slick.cards elects to issue a refund. We do not promise prorated refunds. Contact support@slick.cards about billing errors or subscription questions.
Review your card and member counts before changing plans. Creation and restoration remain subject to the applicable allowance. No fixed grace period or automatic deletion of over-limit content is promised. Cancellation does not delete customer data; cancellation, card archiving and data deletion are separate concepts.
Promotions, referrals and affiliates
Promotions can be restricted by plan, expiry, redemption limits and eligibility. Review the discount actually applied in Checkout. Customer referral credit and affiliate commissions are separate. Affiliate participation requires approval and is addressed in the Affiliate Terms. No referral click alone guarantees a credit or commission.
Service changes and access restrictions
Slick.cards may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, fraud, abuse, security threats, illegal activity, infringement, manipulation of referrals or affiliates, or material violations of these Terms. Immediate suspension is permitted when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance or protection of users or the service. No fixed warning or appeal period is promised.
We may change features as the service develops. Contact support@slick.cards about access restrictions. Applicable legal rights and the refund policy above remain in effect. Data retention is addressed in the Privacy Policy.
Intellectual property and third-party services
The product branding and application remain subject to their respective intellectual-property rights. This does not transfer ownership of your card content. Stripe, PayPal, linked websites and embedded services have separate terms and practices. Third-party availability and email-signature rendering are outside the application direct control.
Disclaimers and allocation of risk
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Slick.cards is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or noninfringement. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, an uptime SLA or guaranteed availability.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Slick.cards is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from use of the service. The operator's total liability arising from Slick.cards is limited to the greater of $100 or the amounts you actually paid to Slick.cards during the preceding 12 months. These limitations do not apply where applicable law does not permit them and do not exclude rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
User indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold the operator harmless from third-party claims, damages and reasonable costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your content, infringement, illegal activity or misuse of Slick.cards. The operator will provide reasonable notice of a claim and reasonable cooperation in its defense. This provision is limited to those claims and does not require indemnification where prohibited by applicable law.
Disputes and other legal terms
These Terms are governed by Pennsylvania law, subject to rights that cannot be displaced by applicable law. Disputes will be brought in state or federal courts serving Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, subject to mandatory legal requirements. These Terms do not require arbitration and do not include a class-action waiver.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Changes to these Terms will identify their effective date, with any additional notice or acceptance required by applicable law. Contact legal@slick.cards for legal notices or questions.
